Venexiana

Renowned for her gorgeous, flowing, and colorful pieces, Kati Stern's Spring | Summer 2014 collection for Venexiana was elegant, streamlined, and progressive. The collection consisted of a lot of pastels, interesting shapes, and her signature diamond strap backed dresses.

Above: The "creamsicle"sparkle dress on the top left was an absolute stunner, as well as the gorgeous fur wrap pictured below it.

Open backs are a huge component to a lot of Venexiana's gowns, and I especially adored this light pastel-pink one (see above). The shapes of all the gowns were modern and interesting, but the cuts still felt traditional in a way, and gave off an "old hollywood" feel.

The palette of this collection was also incredibly tasteful, expressing a natural transition from neutrals into the poignant pastels.

Stay tuned for more NYFW posts!
